To invoice a vehicle you will need to do the following:
Used Vehicles
If the Vehicle hasn't had a Sales Order Entered
- Click Car Sales
- Click Stock Management
- Enter the Stock Number or Reg Number
- Click on Sales
- Click on Take Order
- Click on Customer Details
- Enter all the details shown on screen
- Click OK
- Enter any adjustments to the 'Basic Price', Add any 'Accessories' etc (if you want to show a discount use 'Shift V together' for Value or 'shift 5 together' for a percentage %
- Enter a Deposit if you have taken one
- If the vehicle is going to be 'Financed' then Click on the * of the 'Amount Due from Finance Company', enter the amount they are financing for
- Click on Finance Details
- Enter the Finance Company Sales Ledger Code or search from the list using the [?] (Accounts will need to set one up in the Sales Ledger if it is a new Finance Company you are using)
- The list box will only show finance companies as these are pre-set in the Sales Ledger for filter purposes so you don't have all the customer accounts showing
- Click OK
- Click Exit
- 'All Details Entered?' Click Yes
- Select the MOP (Method of Payment) for the deposit
- Click OK
- Print Sales Order Now? Click Yes (if you click No then you can reprint this in the Documents Tab)
- The vehicle will now show as 'Reserved'
- Follow the next step 'If the vehicle has had a sales order entered' to invoice the vehicle
If the Vehicle has had a Sales Order Entered
- Click Car Sales
- Click Stock Management
- Enter the Stock Number or Reg Number
- Click on Sales
- Click on Sell
- Click on Invoice
- You many need to select the period number if you are in a split period
- Check all the details of the order screen and amend if required
- If everything is OK Click Exit
- 'All Details Entered?' Click Yes
- It may ask if this 'Is a preference sales?' Click Yes or No accordingly (this is for Nissan Composite purposes and splits the figures for Nissan and Non-Nissan Finance Companies)
- 'Print Sales Invoice Now?' Click Yes (if you click No then you can reprint this in the Documents Tab)
- The invoice has now been completed
New Vehicles
If the Vehicle hasn't had a Sales Order Entered
The vehicle has to be Adopted before you can do an invoice
- Click Car Sales
- Click Stock Management
- Enter the Stock Number or Reg Number
- If you didn't have a Reg No entered you can do this now or at the invoice stage
- Click on Sales
- Click on Take Order
- Click on Customer Details
- Enter all the details shown on screen
- Click OK
- Enter any adjustments to the 'Basic Price', Add any 'Accessories' etc (if you want to show a discount use 'Shift V together' for Value or 'shift 5 together)' for percentage %
- Enter a Deposit if you have taken one
- If the vehicle is going to be 'Financed' then Click on the * of the 'Amount Due from Finance Company', enter the amount they are financing for
- Click on Finance Details

If the Vehicle has had a Sales Order Entered
- Click Car Sales
- Click Stock Management
- Enter the Stock Number or Reg Number
- Click on Sales
- Click on Sell
- Click on Invoice
- If you didn't have a Reg No entered you can do this now
- Enter the Registered Date
- Press Enter
- Confirm? Click Yes
- Check all the details of the order screen and amend if required
- If everything is OK Click Exit
- 'All Details Entered?' Click Yes
- It may ask if this 'Is a preference sales?' Click Yes or No accordingly (this is for Nissan Composite purposes and splits the figures for Nissan and Non-Nissan Finance Companies)
- 'Print Sales Invoice Now?' Click Yes (if you click No then you can reprint this in the Documents Tab)
- The invoice has now been completed
