Locking System
The 'Lock System' option can be used for a few reasons:
- Month End/Year End Processing (which will stop people trying to process transactions etc whilst trying to complete the process)
- Peak wanting to do maintenance work
- To stop users logging in for a particular reason
To lock the system, you will need to do the following:
- You are logged in as SUPERVISOR and Level 9 password
- Everyone has to be out of Peak apart from yourself (you can check this by going into File > User Log)
- Once everyone is out of Peak then you can go to File > Lock System
- If anyone tried to log in then they will get a message 'Access Denied - System Locked'
- You can then continue with the works required
- Once you have completed the works you required and can allow users to go back in then go to File > Unlock System
