The following instructions are to show how to do a parts conditional search:
- Go into Parts
- Go into Reports
- Go into Conditional Search
- Field Names selection available which are stored on the parts record are:
- Part Number
- Product Group
- Category
- Bin Location
- Qty on Hand
- Qty on Customer Order
- Qty on Supplier Order
- Date First Stocked
- Date Last Checked
- Date Last Issued
- Date Last Received
- Alternate Code
- Surcharge Code
- Sales Discount Code
- Minimum Stock Weeks
- Minimum Stock Qty
- Order Status
- Part Type
- Retail Price
- Trade Price
- Buying Price
- Latest Cost
- Average Cost
- Condition selection available are:
- Equal To - Example: You want to select all parts with a PG 1
- Not Equal To - Example: You want all parts which are not in Bin Location A1
- Greater Than - Example: You want all parts first stocked after 01/01/19
- Less Than - Example: You want any parts which have a Qty on Hand less than 0
- In The Range - Example: You want all parts Last Issues between 2 dates i.e. 01/01/19 to 01/02/19
- You can enter the data either using text, numeric or date format depending on the field Name(s) selected. Once you have selected your chosen options you will need to click on Accept for this to be selected. All selections will be placed into the selection list box at the bottom of the screen.
- You can add a maximum of 99 conditions for the search
- When you have entered all the statements required, press Search
- This will begin the search showing the records processed at the bottom of the screen
- Once the search has finished it will display the total records matched at the bottom of the
screen
- A 'Output Method' box will be displayed, the options available are:
- Screen - This is where you can >> through the criteria selected on screen (no print out/export will be produced)
- Printer - This will produce a report of the selected criteria
- ASCII - This will produce a csv file of the selected criteria (File Name will be required and will be saved in the peak\csvfiles directory OR the peak\a directory)
- Once you have chosen the method of output and press Continue
- You will then be taken back to the Search Screen where you can Exit out of this screen
