Creation date: 11/12/2019 16:21    Updated: 22/04/2020 15:41    delete delete customer delete vehicle

There are 3 areas where you might want to delete information

CRM (Customer and Vehicle Information)

This is in CRM > Table Setup > Deletion Levels

Enter minimum deletion level you would like to set (any user below this level will not be able to delete a customer or vehicle)

There are 2 further options you can choose from:

Supervisor Required - If this is ticked, the user must sign in with a username of SUPERVISOR otherwise the deletion will not be allowed.  If it is unticked then any user can delete with the required deletion level set

Allow Deletion of Vehicles - This means with the above mentioned criteria, you will be able to delete vehicles. If this is unticked then you will not be able to delete vehicles from the system

If you have made any amendments, ensure you click OK to save the changes.

Sales Ledger Account

A sales ledger account can only be deleted if you log in as the username SUPERVISOR and the preset password in Sales Ledger > Parameters > Parameters

The recommendation is to set the level at 9 which is the highest password. This will save any accidental deletions by the user

Please take note: Accounts can be deleted with transactions on but you will be prompted with a warning message (shown below).

It will default to NO, if you continue with Yes then you will be prompted with further warning message 'Confirm Deletion is Required?'

It is recommended NOT to deleted an account with transactions on as you will lose audit trails and report statistics

Purchase Ledger Account
