Unlocking Acuserver Instructions

To unlock AcuServer you need to ensure no one is in the system before starting.

You will not be able to do this unless you are an Administrator or have server access

• Right Click on the icon called AcuServer Control Panel on the server machine and Run as Administrator Mode
• This will open up the AcuServer Control Panel

• From here click on Info, Click on Query, Click OK (Should be Server: localhost and Port: 6523 by default - multi location will be 6524, 6525 etc per location)
• PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ONLY UNLOCK PEOPLE WHO NEED TO BE UNLOCKED DUE TO CRASHES ETC. DO NOT UNLOCK SOMEONE WHO IS IN PEAK AND PROCESSING INFORMATION AS YOU CAN CORRUPT THE FILE CAUSING DATA LOSS
• The screen will show a list of files that are locked/in use by AcuServer, you will need to highlight the files listed and click on Disconnect to unlock each file

• A message will be displayed ‘Warning This operation will close all files opened by the client runtime etc’ you need to says Yes for each file you unlock

• Once completed you can click on Close
